Three awards are presented to three various women who exemplify Godly traits and values that also align with these women of the Bible and Biola’s values of truth,transformation and testimony. It is our desire to select an alumnus, staff or faculty, current student.

The recipient of this award displays a love for God’s word and a desire to live out His truth in love. Her desire is to spread the gospel and teach his word through her actions, words, and attitude.

The recipient lives out her desire to see those around her growing and living as pure reflections of God’s glory.

Judges 4:4-7
“Deborah was a prophet, the wife of Lappidoth. She was judge over Israel at that time. …The People of Israel went to her in matters of justice.”

The recipient of this award exemplifies wisdom as she lives out a life of leadership. Leading by example, this woman receives the trust and respect of her peers for her integrity and wisdom. She is assertive in her leadership and gracefully encourages her peers.

Esther 4:15-16
“Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai, “Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day.

I and my maidens also will fast in the same way. And thus I will go in to the king, which is not according to the law; and if I perish, I perish.”

The recipient of this award exemplifies courage in her life and trusts in God and His timing. She exudes strength and bravery, a common day heroine, using godly wisdom to achieve the unimaginable. She is an inspiration to those around her as she prospers through hardships and persecution and enables those around her to do the same.
