Sunny San Diego, California. Always shown in appreciation for its beautiful beaches and California burritos. I’ve been living in San Diego for the past 12 years and I am still getting to know more special spots. It is such a beautiful city to live in and tour in. Lucky for you, I am going to make your tourist planning much easier and list some special spots around San Diego.

Seaport Village

Seaport Village in San Diego

This place is a strip along the bay. Filled with a variety of small food joints and souvenir shops, it is the place to grab a quick bite, explore, and take pictures with a nice view of the Coronado Bridge during the day. Seaport Village is always full of energy with people riding their bikes, running, roller blading, and skateboarding. I enjoy going on evening strolls for the sunset views.

Balboa Park

Balboa Park

Events, food festivals, museums, and visual arts performances are what makes Balboa Park alive. This is my go to place for photography because of its urban, old fashioned buildings. The San Diego Zoo is also located right next to the complex.

Centennial Park

Centennial Park

So far, I believe this park is the best to get a beautiful view of downtown San Diego. I recommend going during the evening to see downtown lights. The park is also a calm place to go for a walk, to have a picnic, or enjoy getting in the fresh ocean water on a hot day in the small shore located in the middle front of the park.

Kate O. Sessions Park

Kate O. Sessions Park

Can’t get enough of city views? Well, this park is just as great to enjoy a beautiful evening view of the city. Also, it’s a nice place to go on a date in my opinion. Many people enjoy sitting on the slanted hill of the park to fully get the view experience.

La Jolla Cove

La Jolla Cove

This is for all you sunset lovers! You will get the best sunset experience at La Jolla Cove. I love to go here to take pictures and gather with friends. There are also small cliffs that I like to sit on to watch the sunset. Do you like sea lions? You’re going to find so many of them laying at the bottom of the cove.

Dave’s Hot Chicken

Dave's Hot Chicken

Need a break from Chick-Fil-A and Raisin Cane’s? When you’re hungry, make sure to pass by Dave’s Hot Chicken! A brand new location just recently opened up to bring their chicken to San Diego. Delicious crispy chicken tenders and sliders is always a great option for comfort food.

Mike’s Taco Club

Mike's Taco Club

I am still on a mission to seek which taco shop has the best California Burrito. This burrito is uniquely filled with french fries, carne asada, sour cream, cheese, and guacamole. Mike’s Taco Club is my current favorite spot to go get a California burrito. It’s located right next to the beach as well! So it would not be bad to have a beach day with California burritos.
