Biography

Dr. Ruth Mills Robbins received her Ph.D. in History from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in Medieval Studies (500 to 1500 AD) in 2010. Since that time she has been working as an adjunct instructor at Biola University. She teaches both world civilizations and U.S. history courses. In addition, she has taught upper division courses, including Biola’s medieval history course. While Dr. Robbins’ focus has been on her teaching, she continues to do research into the Middle Ages. Her research focus is tenth-century France. When Dr. Robbins is not researching or teaching, you can find her experimenting with historical textile techniques (ask her about the Vikings and tablet weaving), or helping her husband in his ministry at Rivera First Baptist Church and with his ministry to pastors of small churches.
