Dr. Phillip Aijian is a renaissance scholar whose work has focused on stagings of Shakespeare's dramatic theology. He is interested in the ways that literary genres like drama and poetry can simulate religious experiences ranging from epiphany and horror to the sublime. A keen student of Milton, Wordsworth and Rilke, Aijian is also a writer whose current projects include exploring God's questions through poetry. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling in the mountains with his family, carpentry, playing music and creating visual art.
