Megen Phillips returns to Biola University and Talbot School of Theology after previously graduating from the Institute for Spiritual Formation (ISF) and then continuing to work at the Institute as the receptionist for four years. While serving as the ISF receptionist, she earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University, leading to her pursuing licensure as a marriage and family therapist, in practice at a Christian not-for-profit in Costa Mesa. Prior to becoming a therapist, Phillips worked in church ministry, serving youth in multiple churches in south Orange County and in the UK. Phillips is passionate about the healing integration of psychology and theology and continues to serve as a spiritual director in addition to her clinical work with clients.
