Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • Brown sugar - 3 quarters cup packed
  • Granulated white sugar - half a cup
  • Vanilla extract- 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • One egg
  • Baking soda - half teaspoon
  • Flour - 1 and a quarter cups
  • Unsalted butter - half cup melted
  • Semi sweet Chocolate chips - 8 ounces or how much you want!

Instructions

Melt butter in separate bowl

Mix with a whisk the two sugars, salt, and melted butter until it forms a paste

Add vanilla extract and egg to sugar/salt/butter

Whisk until when you lift the spatula up light ribbons of the dough start falling

Then sift in flour and baking soda

After sifted in, fold in mix together with a spatula

Fold in chocolate chips

Put dough in fridge for 30 mins to let flavor set in

Scoop dough with an ice cream scooper; if you don’t have one, mold into 2 inch balls and set on a baking sheet

Bake for 12-15 mins at 350 degrees or until edges have started to brown just barely

Let cool completely

Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite dessert! I especially love when they are dough-y and this is the perfect recipe for that. Hope you enjoy!
