Biography

Stanley Ng's career has revolved around engineering and healthcare. After spending time in industry-related research in biomedical engineering, he now serves in higher education. His passion for teaching and mentorship for the next generation of students comes from innovating small changes for a large impact in engineering. As an advisor to engineering students, he actively connects students with industry professionals. In the classroom, he designs courses that best support student-centered learning and equips students to be industry-ready, primarily integrating the engineering design process with missional utility. Ng has also served many years as an executive pastor. Currently, his research interests are in developing data-driven, innovation-based learning engineering education experiences and applied machine learning in complex adaptive systems.
