Biography

Dr. Dan Martin’s teaching subjects focus on Occupational Therapy. He teaches courses on occupational performance, child development, therapeutic use of self, mental health, integrating evidence-based approaches and hands-on learning experiences (e.g., case scenarios and facilitating fieldwork placements).

Before his current academic role as an instructor and academic fieldwork coordinator, Dr. Dan Martin worked extensively with children and families across school-based, clinic and home health settings. His clinical expertise includes sensory regulation, behavior analysis and family-centered care.
