The Review of Academic Proposals and Programs (RAPP) Team serves as consultants for academic and staff leaders to facilitate discernment (triaging, vetting, and shepherding) of strategic academic initiatives (proposals) designed to fulfill and extend the mission of Biola University. All proposed new programs and proposed program changes must first be approved by RAPP before being reviewed by the appropriate curriculum committee. RAPP is also charged with reviewing existing programs to ensure continued sustainability and alignment with Biola's mission. The discernment process is comprehensive, yet designed to be clear, transparent, efficient, and effective so that approved programs can be delivered thoughtfully and rapidly.
The Review of Academic Proposals and Programs (RAPP) is commissioned by the Office of the Provost and the President's Cabinet.
