New Employee Orientation

A specific schedule of training has been established for all Biola job and employment classifications. At the time a hire decision is made, managers are asked to submit a Hire Form to Human Resources. On the basis of information on this form, new employees are scheduled for training appropriate for their job responsibilities. All facets of the training are required unless waived after a review by the department head and the manager of Training and Development. If an employee moves to a new job category, training will be reviewed and appropriate training will be scheduled.

Information from the completed Hire Form is used to determine appropriate training. This form is to be submitted to Human Resources as soon as a hire decision is made.
