Flourishing in Ministry Coach Certification
Training
In the wake of our enduring mental health crisis, pastors and congregations are experiencing increasing stress. Additionally, they may find themselves ill-equipped to address these issues, both for themselves and for others. In light of this, the Flourishing in Ministry Coach Training Certification aims to equip participants with a research-backed framework for how to flourish in ministry and coaching skills aligned with the International Coaching Federation, the gold standard for coach training. Participants will experience personal growth in flourishing as well as gain professional knowledge and skills for how to support others amidst this mental health crisis.
Please note: all participants will need to apply and be accepted into the coaching program before beginning the course. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping leaders flourish, a masters degree related to theology or a helping profession, and at least 10 years of successful ministry leadership. Complete your application if you have not already done so.
This is an 85-Hour ICF Program
43 Hours Total Synchronous Includes:
- 16 (2 Hour) Live Sessions – 32 Hours
- 11 Hours Mentor Coaching
42 Hours Total Asynchronous Includes:
- 16 Videos from Flourishing in Ministry Instructors
- 8 Flourishing in Ministry Instructor Video Sessions
- 9 ICF Core Competency Coaching Videos o Reading Materials
- 5 Recorded Coaching Demos
To apply for the ICF ACC Certification you will need to complete 100 hours (75 paid hours and 25 pro-bono hours) of coaching experience, this is not required to graduate from our certificate program.
