Biola is one of a kind. It's 20 minutes from Disney, and if that's not your thing you got the beach or LA a drive away! Our location is great, but the main reason I love Biola is the people. Everyone you meet is so kind and genuine. The life and joy that I see in peoples' interactions is something I've only seen at Biola.

The friendships I've made! There are people I've only known for a couple years and it feels like I've known them my entire life. Very thankful that Biola comes through with emphasizing the importance of intentionality within the community.

I was in the Hula Ministry my freshman year. I've also had fun playing intramural volleyball (our team name was the "Swedish Fish"), pretending I'm a cool barista whenever I work at the Talon (I'm better at heating things up in the oven). It's also my second year on SOS and I've had the privilege of leading a soul group!

Howdy! My favorite thing about Biola would have to be the teachers! Being a transfer student I really appreciate having wonderful teacher that care deeply about my education and want to see me grow not only in school but also in my relationship with God! Hmm I also really like the lawn. I love just laying out a blanket and eating or studying in the sun all around campus!

I love Biola for three main reasons. First is the community. People are friendly and truly care about each other. SMU is next. I have a heart for missions and travel. The nursing program is the last reason. Learning sciences is difficult but the professors care about their students, and I have made a solid group of friends.

Biola does an excellent job when it comes to integrating faith into academics. Even during my Kinesiology classes our professors still emphasize Christianity and how our faith effects the sciences, which is a unique experience when it comes to universities.

I LOVE the cinnamon rolls at the Cafe on Tuesday mornings! I love the community and the opportunity to continually grow. There is something very special about the life and spirit at Biola that you will not find anywhere else. I am constantly running into familiar faces and meeting new people wherever I go! Biola's campus is very open with lots of places to hang out with friends. This gives it a great atmosphere for students when they are walking to class, chapel, or the Caf. Also, the Bible classes I have taken so far have taught me so much and greatly influenced the way I look at Christianity.
