B.S. in Human Biology
The mission of the Bachelor of Science in Human Biology is to provide an academically stimulating and challenging environment for intellectual and spiritual growth, preparing students to pursue careers and advanced degrees in health related fields.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, students will be able to:
Apply the scientific method in research.
Explain the biomolecular basis of life at the cellular level.
Distinguish the unique and integrated function of human organs and body systems.
Integrate faith and scientific knowledge to practice science with integrity, steward creation, and articulate the merit of their worldview.
A Curriculum Map shows which courses in a degree program are responsible to intentionally develop each PLO at the Introductory, Developing, and Mastery levels.
An Assessment Plan is a listing of the student work that will be used to assess achievement of each learning outcome.
An Assessment Schedule is a 5-year schedule that indicates when each of the PLOs will be assessed and when the comprehensive Program Review will occur.
