Scholarships from Biola (Fall 2024–Spring 2025)
At Biola, we seek to make our unique, Christ-centered education more affordable for you and your family. That is why we’ve expanded our scholarships for both freshmen and transfer students to their largest amounts ever. Academic scholarships — which are merit-based awards that do not need to be repaid — range from $14,000 to $23,000. And there are lots of additional scholarships beyond those.

Ahmanson Veterans Scholarship
The Ahmanson Veterans Scholarship was generously donated by The Ahmanson Foundation in an effort to support veterans who are eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. Funds are applicable to tuition, Collegium membership, and the Biola Counseling Center.

Campus Visit Scholarship
The Campus Visit Scholarship is available to any incoming freshman, transfer, or freshman transfer student who takes part in a registered visit on campus (Admissions sponsored event or individual tour) between July 1, 2023 and April 30, 2024.

Golden State Teacher Grant Program
The Golden State Teacher Grant program (GSTG) is for students who are currently enrolled in a teacher preparation program to earn a credential in a high need field and commit to teach at a priority school, in California for four years, within five years after completing a teacher preparation program.
The definition of a “high-need field” and a list of “priority schools” can be found on this state site.

Henry & Marjorie Warren Scholarship
Henry Warren, who died in September 1999, was chairman of Biola’s business department from 1977 to 1987. He began his career as a welder, and after returning to college following World War II, held a number of diverse positions, including vice president of ITT, founder of Flotech, presidential advisor, economist, and World Bank consultant. He is considered the “architect” of the School of Business, and provided many of the ideals and standards that we strive for in structuring our program today.

Horace and Dot Felkins Scholarship
Horace and Dot Felkins were raised in the Hills of Arkansas. Born to poor families, Horace’s father was a plumber and Horace learned the trade at an early age. Several members of the Felkins Family came to know the Lord at a traveling revival meeting in the area, and eventually the entire family came to know the Lord.
Horace and Dot felt compelled to start a scholarship fund as God has blessed them so mightily through their business and investments. They chose a business education because of the difference it can make, and they chose Biola because of the impact that the university has had in the lives of many people they know.

Education Student Emergency Grant
This scholarship is for graduate and undergraduate student tuition assistance in situations where emergencies occur and students have financial needs that occur out of the normal scholarship recommendation cycle.
