Chapel Services
You are encouraged to attend any of the Chapel services which are held for undergraduates or graduate students. During the Fall and Spring semesters, undergraduate chapel services are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings in Chase Gym (9:30-10:20) in addition to other chapels throughout the week at various times and campus locations. Talbot School of Theology has a regular Tuesday morning service (9:30-10:20) during Fall and Spring semesters; these chapels take place in Calvary Chapel. You can view the chapel schedule here.
Publications on Campus
In addition to departmental newsletters and journals, several campuswide publications are available to you.
- Campus-Wide News and Community News are email newsletters for faculty and staff sent during the week. Campus-Wide News is sent on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while Community News is sent on Fridays. You can find all the content of these newsletters in My Biola.
- The Chimes is the student newspaper, which is normally published weekly during Fall and Spring semesters and placed at numerous distribution points on campus in bulk, for you to pick up when you see it. Thursday is the normal day for issues to arrive.
- Biola Magazine is published quarterly by the Office of University Marketing. To receive a free subscription to Biola Magazine, email your name and mailing address to biolamag@biola.edu or call (562) 906-4516.
Biola's Intercollegiate Athletic Teams
Biola University is a full member of the NCAA Division II. Biola fields a number of men’s and women’s teams and you are invited to enjoy their games. Your Biola ID card entitles you and any immediate family members to free admission to Volleyball and Basketball regular season games in Chase Gym. Outdoor games are free of charge to all spectators. Conservatory of Music
