Join us for a FREE hands-on Zoom play experience with open-ended materials

Play serves an essential role in the lives of both adults and children. This virtual play experience is designed to help adults experience the power of self-active play, an enjoyable practice that relieves stress and anxiety while inspiring creativity and self-awareness. After our time of play, we will consider the role of play in early childhood programs and schools as a means for promoting learning, healing, and joy. We will explore ways that we can integrate play in our lives and in our schools.

In preparation for our time together, we recommend you:

  • Gather a set of open-ended materials to use during the workshop.
  • Have paper and tools available for writing or drawing.
  • Ensure you have a quiet comfortable place to play

Suggested Materials:

  • Sticks, stones, marbles, yawn, buttons, beads, blocks, bottle tops, fabric scraps, driftwood, wire, cardboard, pine cones
