A unique chapel designed especially for students new to Biola to lay the groundwork for discipleship and spiritual formation while providing opportunities to connect to the community. Although designed for new students, all are welcome and will receive Spiritual Development credit.

Speakers

Todd Pickett

Todd is currently the Rector/Pastor of Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Costa Mesa, CA. A native Californian, Todd was an English professor for 11 years and was the Dean of Spiritual Development and Campus Pastor for 15 years at Biola University until April 2023. He has degrees in Classical languages and literature from Stanford University and from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, an M.A. in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from Biola University, and a Ph.D. in English from the University of California (Irvine). He leads retreats, undertakes group and individual spiritual direction, preaches regularly and speaks frequently to groups on Christian spiritual formation from an evangelical perspective. He lives in Costa Mesa, CA, and is married to Dottie Cox Pickett, a marriage and family therapist.
