RE:CONNECTIONS features recent Biola Art alumni whose works are made through experimental processes of connection and interaction. The works in this show were produced through collaboration and conversation, created to facilitate new networks of relationship and meaning. Many of the pieces featured were begun during a time of social separation and explore unconventional means of facilitating a material exchange, or bring a sense of intimacy and humanity to the digital realm. Works made to be mailed, gifted, transmitted, and exchanged now take their form in a shared physical space, extending the potential for new connections to be made.

Curated by Astri Swendsrud

This exhibit runs concurrent with the related exhibition “IN SEARCH OF THE MIRACULOUS” — on view in the Green Art Gallery — and the ongoing year-long Celebration of Arts and Media at Biola.
