IN SEARCH OF THE MIRACULOUS features recent Biola Art alumni whose practices tell the stories of our everyday lives, experiences, and identities, re-imagined through a process of transformative seeing. As many of our worlds shifted inward, through times of quarantine and isolation, these artists invoke interior spaces – both domestic and psychological – and open them up for expansive exploration. The objects, locations, feelings, and desires of day-to-day experience are given material form and emotional resonance through the works presented here.

This exhibit runs concurrently with the related exhibition “RE:CONNECTIONS” — on view in the Bardwell Project Space — and the ongoing year-long Celebration of Arts and Media at Biola.
