Chapels are still a vital part of the Biola community and a great way to stay connected while we are experiencing Biola at Home. New Chapels will be released each week through Canvas and available until Friday at 11:59 pm.

Speakers

Rick Langer

 Rick is a Professor of Biblical Studies and Theology at Biola University and the Director of the Office of Faith and Learning and co-director of the Winsome Conviction Project. He specializes in the integration of faith and learning, and has also published in the areas of bioethics, theology, and philosophy. His recent work has dealt with communicating Christian convictions in the midst of an increasingly polarized society. Prior to coming to Biola, he served for over twenty years as a pastor at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Redlands, California. 

He lives in Fullerton with his wife Shari. They have two married children and four grandchildren!

 

 

Tim Muehlhoff

Tim Muehlhoff (Ph.D., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) is a professor of communication studies at Biola University in La Mirada, California where he teaches classes in family communication, interpersonal communication and gender. Dr. Muehlhoff's main interests lie in the study of interpersonal communication as applied to marital relationships, family dynamics, civil dialogue, social justice, and apologetics. He has authored several books on those topics including his newest, Winsome Persuasion - Christian Influence in a Post-Christian World, which received the 2018 Merit Award in Evangelism and Apolgetics from Christianity Today. 

He and his wife, Noreen, have three sons and are frequent speakers at FamilyLife Marriage Conferences.

Grace Cho

Grace P. Cho is a writer and editorial manager at (in)courage, an online community aimed to connect, empower, and serve Christian women. In the middle of her years in church ministry, she sensed God moving her toward writing, to use her words to lead others in a broader context. Aside from her work online, she does this through speaking, group discipleship, and one-on-one mentoring.
