Come hear psychologist and Westmont professor Dr. Andrea Gurney speak as she sets out to rewrite this much-believed in fairy tale with principles and practicalities from psychology, foundational biblical truths, and the burgeoning field of relationship science.

Speakers

Andrea Gurney

Dr. Gurney earned her Ph.D. at Northeastern University. She spent three years training at Harvard Medical School in individual, child/adolescent, and couples and family therapy before moving to Santa Barbara.  She has been on the faculty at Westmont College since 2005. She teaches courses in Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Marriage, Abnormal Psychology, and a Capstone Internship in Psychology. She also maintains a private practice where she has been working with individuals, couples, and families for more than two decades.
