Join us for the artist's reception and awards presentations for the current exhibition on view in the University Library.

The "NEXT" juried art exhibition offers a glimpse of emerging young talent in the visual arts, featuring exemplary works created by High School students from private schools across the region, celebrating the creativity of young Christian artists, and cultivating artistic talent within the Christian community.

Featuring artwork by: Brianna Ahrens, Amanda Barnhouse, Kayla Caceres, Nancy Chen, Ashley Cuellar, Abby DeJong, Matt Diaz, Yushuo Ding, Jalen Gooch, Emma Holland, Rachael Kuiper, Ellen Li, Shenyuan Li, Dai-Ning (Maggie) Lin, Todd Neblett, Chloe Petty, Mackenzie Puls, Lauren Rabago, Laura Sheppard, Jordan Sterett, Daniel Tao, Ashley Tuthill, Ruitong Wang, Noel Yamamoto and Binbing Yang

Reception: Saturday, October 27 from 3:30–5:30 p.m.
Awards Presentation at 4:30 p.m.

The juried exhibition was open to submissions from high school students attending private Christian schools in the region and work was selected by a committee of Biola University Art Department faculty whose work is also currently on view throughout the main floor of the university library.

The exhibition will remain on view throughout fall semester 2018 thru December 22, 2018.
