Each week in Monday Word Chapel, we hear teaching from the Word, allowing it to pierce our hearts (Heb. 4:12) as we explore our annual theme in Scripture, which this year is “Illuminate”. Come join us as we gather together as a community to be edified by the book of Ephesians this year!

Mike McNichols is a native Californian, born when Harry Truman was still President of the US. He writes about theology and faith, but also creates supernatural thrillers that have an underlying theological question or two. His first novel, The Bartender: A Fable about a Journey, was a doctoral project and received a dissertation award in its category. A sequel to This Side of Death, titled A Body Given was released in December 2012—the third installment, On Turpin's Head, will be released in early 2014. A collection of short stories, Dark Ocean, was released as a Kindle book in March 2012.

Mike has worked in the fields of education, business, and Christian ministry. He studied theology, biblical studies, and leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary and George Fox Evangelical Seminary. He currently serves as Director of Fuller Seminary's California Coast Regional Campus in Irvine, California.
