Let's talk about civility, fake news and media culture.
You're invited to join us for our final Culture and Media Talk of the semester. This series of conversations provides a place to discuss and reflect on topics surrounding media, faith and culture. Given the current rhetoric in our society, challenges within the church and questions on our campus, we in the Department of Media, Journalism and Public Relations along with the Department of Communication Studies are compelled to initiate conversations in our community on such relevant topics.
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Longinow, professor of Writing & Publishing at Biola University, Brenda Springer, founder and CEO of Reveille, Inc., and Krysta Fauria, Biola alumna ('14) and AP multimedia journalist, to close out this series of discussions this semester.
Dr. Joy Qualls, chair of the Department of Communication Studies, will be moderating the panel discussion. After opening comments, we will transition into an interactive Q&A session.
