NOTE: Registration has closed. We will accept walk-ins to the Used Curriculum Sale. Please check in at the Registration table upon arrival.

Join Biola Youth Academics and Biola University for a day filled with free homeschool resources and community building. The Biola Homeschool Expo will feature a used curriculum sale of nearly two dozen vendors, homeschool workshops, a chance to explore a Christian university campus and an exclusive seminar by Brett Kunkle from Maven, who will provide a practical guide to equip you to help your students navigate the world today.

10–10:45 a.m. Biola Youth Academics Information Session #1
Location: Talbot East 008
Learn how BYA can partner with you. Hear program leaders give an overview of our elementary, junior high, and high school courses and our BYA Private School Satellite Program(PSP).

10–10:45 a.m. Tour Biola University Campus (pre-registration required)
Location: Biola Welcome Center

11 a.m.–12 p.m. How to Discuss Difficult Topics with your Teen by Torrey Academy and Torrey Honors Institute
Location: Talbot East 008
High school students ask tough questions as they consider the world around them and their place in it. Join the leaders of Torrey Academy and Torrey Honors for an informative seminar on how to lead high school students in discussion, helping them wrestle with their biggest and hardest questions.

11 a.m.–12 p.m. New to Homeschool Q & A
Location: Talbot East 108
If you are new to homeschooling you may be asking questions like, “Where do I start? What curriculum should I use? Is homeschooling even right for me?” Robin Slagle, Administrator of the BYA Private School Satellite Program, has over 13 years of homeschooling experience and will be available to answer your questions.

1:30 p.m. Keynote: A Practical Guide to Culture – Helping the Next Generation Navigate Today’s World
Location: Andrews Banquet Room
Brett Kunkle, author, speaker and homeschool parent, will lead you in examining today’s cultural challenges and provide a practical guide to equip you to help the next generation navigate today’s world.
