Phillip Chang is the Founder and CEO of Yogurtland.
In 2006, Phillip Chang opened the first Yogurtland store in Fullerton, CA with one goal in mind: to provide a real experience for customers by giving them top quality flavors and ingredients to create personalized cups of frozen yogurt with.
Drawing in crowds from more than 50 miles away, Phillip quickly saw that his passion for quality and choice was mutually shared with his community, and within a decade he built an empire of more than 300 stores operating in the US and internationally. Through his passion, drive, and leadership, Yogurtland is now recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the US.
Phillip sits on the board of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce as well as the Network of Korean American Leaders. He is also a member of the President’s Advisory Council of Concordia University. Philip’s outstanding professional accomplishments are as impressive as his humanitarian efforts, which can also be seen worldwide.
Phillip currently supports more than 600 missionaries with a primary focus on building orphanages and safe-place environments for children and widows across the globe.
Among his achievements, Phillip has been spotlighted on various publications including: “The Future 50 – the Fastest Growing Emerging Chain,” – Restaurant Business Journal, “100 Fastest Growing Private Companies” – OC Business Journal, “Hottest 25 People in Orange County” – OC METRO Business Media, “Top 30 Food Franchises” – Franchise Business Review, “Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award” from OC Business Journal, “Entrepreneur of The Year” from Ernst & Young, and “Servant Leadership award” from Concordia University.
