Pianist Craig Nies is known for his superb technic, expressive range and intellectual depth. His performances have ranged from his work with 10 Pulitzer Prize-winning composers to his current solo recital series of Bach's complete Well-tempered Clavier. A professor and co-chair of the piano department at Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music, he also teaches and performs at the renowned Brevard Music Center in North Carolina.
