Chico Goff

Pastor Chico started his formal ministry training at Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in La Mirada, California after receiving a B.A. in Spanish.  He spent the next eight years working part-time at Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido, CA as an intern and driving to Talbot. During these years, God laid a foundation in his life of what it meant to follow Him while he learned to serve His people.

One of his intern assignments was to serve in the single’s ministry of the church. It was during this ministry assignment that he met his wife Sheevaun. It took his a while to convince her that he was "marrying material," but he is thankful that she finally agreed! Sheevaun continues to champion their San Marcos connection by serving as an Educational Psychologist in the San Marcos Unified School District. He and Sheevaun are blessed with two adopted children.
