Is there something wrong with the pursuit of happiness? The Bible (and Augustine, Aquinas, John Calvin and C. S. Lewis) didn't think so. But it needs to be true happiness, pursued in the right way. That's what we will explore.

Speakers

David Horner

Dr. David Horner is Professor of Philosophy and Biblical Studies at Biola University. He has taught at the University of Oxford, Denver Seminary, and served as a Visiting Scholar and Research Associate at the University of Colorado. Dr. Horner has lectured in numerous classrooms and university forums nationally and in Europe, and is the author of numerous articles and book chapters on ethics, apologetics, and ancient and medieval philosophy, as well as the book, Mind Your Faith: A Student’s Guide to Thinking and Living Well (IVP Academic, 2011). He also serves as President of The Illuminatio Project, whose aim is to bring the light of a classical biblical vision of goodness, truth, and beauty into the thinking of the church and culture through strategic research and communication. He and his wife, Debbie, have two adult daughters and one granddaughter.
