Speaking from the perspective of establishing a homestead in Los Angeles, Kristin Ritzau will share how God works through the seasons of her family’s life through this grand experiment. By listening the rhythm of creation, we are encouraged to slow down and savor what God has given us.

Kristin Ritzau

Kristin Ritzau is the author of A Beautiful Mess: A Perfectionist’s Journey Through Self-Care. She earned her Master of Arts in Christian Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Practical Theology and Spiritual Formation. In addition to being a speaker and writer, Kristin is a certified spiritual director and an adjunct faculty member at Azusa Pacific University, teaching leadership and writing courses. She also leads retreats and workshops for women wrestling with perfectionism. Currently residing outside of Los Angeles, she lives with her husband and son on their urban homestead along with 8 chickens, 26 fruit trees, and a dozen vegetable beds.
