Kyle Donohue

BA in Sociology focused in Criminal Justice from Biola University. Got accepted into Baylor University Masters of Divinity and Masters of Social Work program in May, deferred for a year to raise more money to attend.

While at Biola I helped out with a group that went to Teen Challenge in Lynwood CA on Friday nights led by Brittany Petro and Cameron Foster. In my sophomore year I was on the ICS/Anthropology student planning counsel. We planned the annual retreat, Christmas party where I was MC, the Spring program graduation banquet and spring program dinner.

Grew up with parents who were the first Christians in their families. I have one sibling my sister Carly Donohue who attends Biola University. I have been employed by The Salvation Army at The Kroc Family Center in Suisun CA as a Summer Camp Counselor, Child Watch Attendant and Teen Program Instructor. I also substitute taught at Fairfield Christian School twice in 2011.

I am currently employed by Napa Valley Unified School District as a Campus Supervisor at Vintage High School in Napa. I am the Varsity Assistant Head Baseball Coach at Armijo High School in Fairfield CA. Being a baseball coach I talk to my players all the time about life and the game. As a campus supervisor I have actually had the unique opportunity of speaking to all of the freshman physical education classes this semester about bullying and cyber bullying to be exact. I have lead Bible study groups for the kids and I have led the Thursday night group in prayer, games and announcements.

I am on volunteer youth staff at Parkway Community Church going on 6 years. I work along side High School Youth Director Justin Nunes and Youth Pastor Tony Tiemann. I help with high school group called High Life on Thursday nights and then do Area Bible Study groups on Tuesday nights. We are also in the grass root phases of a ministry called City Hope Fairfield where we go to the apartment complex next to the church and invite the tenants to different community events and meet them where they are in life and pray for and with them. I have also helped out with youth when we serve the homeless at Mission Solano.
