Biography

Entrepreneur Robert Harp founded GlobalHotelNetwork.com (GHN) in 2000 to provide expert market insights and thought leadership perspectives to CEOs and decision makers in the global travel and tourism industry. GHN's Advisory Board consists of more than 20 hotel company CEOs and presidents, and its thought leadership coalition consists of more than 100 industry leaders. GlobalHotelNetwork.com is a Media Sponsor of more than 50 industry conferences, held in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Caribbean. A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Harp is a past president and former director of the San Diego CCIM Chapter and a founding director and past president of the Commercial Realtors Association, San Diego County. He is the founder and program chair for the annual San Diego Hospitality Industry Outlook. Harp is director of strategic initiatives at the Crowell School of Business, Biola University — and holds the following degrees: Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), Workplace Theology, Ethics and Leadership, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; Th.M., Dallas Theological Seminary; M.A., Communications, Wheaton Graduate School; and B.A., Economics, Wheaton College. He is the author of Faith at Work, an online course published by Our Daily Bread Christian University.
