Grant Morgan was born in Tupelo, Mississippi (the birthplace of Elvis!), and grew up in northern Arizona with his mom and sister. He moved to southern California to attend Biola University and fell in love with the school and its community. While attending Biola, Grant developed a passion for the integration of theology, rhetoric and communication theory, psychology, and spiritual formation. These interests led him to continue his education by pursuing an MA in theology at Talbot School of Theology, where he spent his time reading Karl Barth, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Dallas Willard and N.T. Wright.
In addition to the academic study of theology, Grant has a deep desire to live a Spirit-filled life and see others set free from hurts and hangups by the power of God. He is currently involved in a leadership group with the Vineyard Churches USA, and hopes to one day plant churches in the Southern California region.
Grant graduated with his B.A. in Communication Studies in 2017 and received his M.A. in Theology from in 2019. In his free time he loves to spend time with his fiancé, read, hike, work on his truck, binge watch quality Netflix content and engage in the world's longest back-and-forth about pursuing a Ph.D.
