Del Monte has performed Rodrigo’s iconic Concierto de Aranjuez with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the California Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall, as well as with the Pacific Symphony with Maestro Carl St. Claire. Another performance at the Hollywood Bowl included a special collaboration with famed dancer Lola Greco. Additional venues where Del Monte has performed include Carnegie Hall, Disney Hall, Lincoln Center, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Teatro Real (Madrid), Chicago Symphony Hall, Barbican Center (London), Birmingham Symphony Hall, Tchaikovsky Hall (Moscow), Jordan Hall (Boston), Teatro Cecilia Meirelas (Rio de Janeiro), amongst many more.
Del Monte has composed two flamenco guitar concertos and performed them with the Moscow State Symphony, Simon Bolivar Orchestra in Caracas, the Jerusalem Symphony and the Santa Monica Symphony. He has recently composed the first of its kind flamenco opera entitled Llantos, which was premiered at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center on September 29 and 30, 2018.He has collaborated on major films such the recording of Avner’s Theme (John Williams, Composer) for the soundtrack and CD of the motion picture Munich by Steven Spielberg. Other film credits include Toy Story, Knight and Day with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
