Biola University is committed to doing our part to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our campus community. In order to do so, measures and efforts have been implemented to guide our faculty and staff community to care for the health and safety of one another and our students and to provide as safe a return as reasonably possible to those faculty, staff and students accessing campus. Biola faculty and staff are expected to know and follow the health and safety guidelines implemented on campus. 

In addition, Biola’s IT is providing faculty support with their instructional technology needs this semester such vocal reinforcement microphones in the classroom, tech help to accommodate a remote student and other tech assistance. Biola IT invites faculty to tell them your technology needs for Fall 2021 via the Instructional Technology Assessment Form.

To request a training consultation in the classroom, faculty can schedule an appointment to meet with an IT person in their classroom.

IT is also happy to announce a new service called Teleportivity that will enable faculty to quickly request a video conference with an IT support person from the classroom using a mobile device. Look for the QR codes posted on signage in the classroom that says “Need Tech Help?.”
