The Advising Center provides resources to faculty as they serve in the following roles:
Biola University students are assigned a faculty advisor once they declare a major. The faculty advisor plays a significant role throughout the academic journey. While the student holds the ultimate responsibility in educational decision-making, advisors play an intentional role by guiding students in their academic progress, plans, and engagement. Advisors partner with students in the larger community of Biola to provide resources for student success and challenge students to take a Christ-centered approach in their academic endeavors.
Lastly, if you have a student of concern in your course and you would like them to receive additional support, please fill out the Early Alert Form on our web site and tell us how we can assist the student.
