Pastor Mike Erre has served as the lead pastor at Mariners Church Mission Viejo Campus since August of 2010. Pastor Erre has a M.A in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from Talbot Theological Seminary, a part of Biola University. He has authored four books, including his most recent title from 2010, “Why the Bible Matters: Rediscovering Its Significance in an Age of Suspicion”. As a reoccurring theme in his books, Pastor Erre is passionate about countering the influence of American consumerist society on the church and restoring the vision given in Scripture of a Kingdom-centered community radically devoted to true doctrine and living in love. Pastor Erre lives in Costa Mesa with his wife Justina and their three children.
