WASC Handbook
The WASC 2001 Handbook of Accreditation (PDF) defines a significantly new model for accreditation. The new model is intended to provide institutions with a cycle of review more connected to each institution’s context and stage of development, more aligned with institutional priorities and future direction, and more focused on educational effectiveness. The new model involved a two-phased review: the Capacity & Preparatory Review followed by the Educational Effectiveness Review.
