50th Anniversary
On June 6, 2007, Clyde and Anna Belle celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. On June 16, a special luncheon was hosted at Biola as the couple celebrated their marriage, which was so central to their work at Biola.
The beautiful tent on Metzger Lawn was decorated in Anna Belle’s original wedding colors, using flowers similar to those chosen for her wedding day.
A replica of the Cooks’ original wedding cake was on display the entire afternoon. The cake was created especially for them by Sweet Lady Jane in Los Angeles, California.
Guests looked on with delight as Clyde and Anna Belle reenacted the traditional cutting of the wedding cake.
