Ralph Waldo Emerson once said "Show me the man who lives only by his books, and I'll show you a man who has never laughed on a merry-go-round." Actually, Emerson never said that, but he did write many fine and important books. And he walked ten miles every day, summer and winter. Which all goes to show you that a well rounded, relatively grounded individual knows how to balance the books with the sunshine.
At Biola, we're all about balance. Sure, we'll give you a rigorous academic schedule and challenge your faith in ways that you never imagined. But you'll also have time for friends and fun. And ten-mile walks, if you feel so inclined. |
