Profile

Tell us about yourself.

I was born and raised in California. I currently live in San Juan Capistrano. I am the oldest of three children (two younger brothers), and I have a love for learning new things about the Bible, music, singing, art, and movies. I enjoy playing a variety of sports: basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, and everything else! If I were to describe myself, I would probably say I tend to be considerably quiet, shy, and reserved. However, I am very young at heart and relish friendship. Most importantly, I embrace peace, love, and joy, and strive toward having a good character and realizing my spiritual gifts.

What's a word or short phrase that best describes you?

"A Woman After God's Own Heart" (I was told this my a dorm-mate.)

What are some of your goals and aspirations?

My goals in life are to be diligent and have fun; I want to "present my life to God as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is my spiritual service of worship" (Rom. 12.1)

What do you do in your free time?

What free time?! Well, when I do have that luxury, I enjoy reading mystery books, brainstorming, solving puzzles and life's problems, traveling, and spending a lot of time with friends and family!

Why did you choose Biola?

I chose Biola because of its environment. It was very important to me that my school offer an environment that encouraged me to grow in my relationship with God, while learning to stand on my own two feet. Biola does that!

Where is your favorite place to hang out?

My favorite hang out place is wherever there are friends and family.

What makes you laugh?

People (my family, roommate), comedy that reflects life issues and circumstances (for example - The Bill Cosby Show).

Tell us one random childhood memory.

One of my fondest childhood memories took place when I was really little (4-5 yrs. old). My dad would pick me up and dance me to sleep to a Sandi Patty song, Beautiful Feet. It is still "our song" today, but the dancing stopped a long time ago.
