Tell us about yourself.
I was born in Sammamish, Washington. I love to laugh and make other people laugh, too. I'm always doing crazy things, and will do pretty much anything if someone dares me (as long as it's legal...) I love to quote Dane Cook (he's a genius!) and listen to music (Coldplay, anyone??). I'm a total romantic at heart and love watching sappy romance movies like "A Walk to Remember" and "The Notebook". My favorite colors are pink and brown, and my entire side of the dorm room is covered with them. I traveled to Italy this summer with my parents, so I have postcards up of every place I went and I always look at them when I miss home and my family!
What's a word or short phrase that best describes you?
Fun-loving and crazy
What are some of your goals and aspirations?
I'm a business marketing major, so I would love to be an advertiser or a consultant for a large company. I would love to go back to Italy someday when I'm older. There is such a need for the gospel there, and Italy is such an amazing place to live! I never really saw myself as a missionary type, but if I were called to go to Italy, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. Right now, I'm just letting God write my story for me, and seeing what's in store for my next four years!
What do you do in your free time?
I'll do anything as long as it involves people. I've found myself in so many random situations so far this semester - awesome memories! I love music, so it's not uncommon to hear something blasting from my computer. I love going to concerts in Hollywood. As far as sports go, I think I'm part of the best intramural volleyball team that has ever lived - WeÕre Kind of a Big Deal (taken from Anchorman) - we're pretty amazing I would say... great hitters...
Why did you choose Biola?
Can anyone say DTR (Define the Relationship)? No, but seriously, I came here a year ago on Biola Bound (which I would highly recommend) and I fell in love with the campus and the people. I grew up in the public school system where there's not much admiration for believers, so coming here is a great change!
Where is your favorite place to hang out?
Common Grounds. This is great coffee place on campus to meet and talk with people and get away from the craziness of academics!
What makes you laugh?
Dane Cook and awkward situations. There are a lot of them here. I love it.
Tell us one random childhood memory.
I was stung by like five jellyfish at Cannon Beach when I was ten years old. I wasn't allowed to go back in the water that year and will always hate that beach because of those stupid jellyfish.
