"I have grown to love the Biola campus. With each day here, new intricacies are discovered, old places rediscovered. I love the smells of the library basement, the glow of the second floor, and the general activity on the mid-level. I love the quiet of the prayer chapel, the expanse of Calvary Chapel. The elementary smell of the old campus and the scent of new in my dorm. The grasses smell like they have, and the turf feels like it has. The cafe smells like meats, baked goods, cologne, bleach, life, the outdoors, steel, breathing, the orient, europe, backyard barbeques, and the like. It is the best place to see people and to socialize. The fields are for playing, are for resting, are for reading. Various arborous walkways shade the times between classes. Chlorine follows those fresh out of the pool, and the air about the fountain is redolent of moisture. There are a myraid of places to read and do schoolwork outside of one's room. And I find them.."
