Nursing

The mission of the Department of Nursing is to prepare students to become competent nursing professionals who integrate Christian caring into their nursing practice.

What will I study?

The Nursing program is built on a Christian philosophy which integrates theological studies with professional nursing knowledge and skills. With a foundation in the sciences and clinical experience, the nursing student can earn his/her bachelor of science in nursing which is accredited by the California Board of Registered Nursing and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The science and nursing programs at Biola are excellent. As a Nursing major I am receiving a great education that emphasizes loving people and incorporating God into my daily life. The teachers here truly care about you and your walk with God, not just your education.

Hi, I'm an admissions counselor here at Biola

So why does US News & World Report rank Biola as a "National University?" Esteemed faculty, numerous study-abroad programs, and the Torrey Honors Institute are just a few reasons.
