Christian Education Ministries

The Christian Education ministries major is designed to develop and equip its graduates for entry-level professional ministries in church and para-church agencies and to provide a foundation for seminary or other graduate education.

What will I study?

At the completion of the Christian Education major, the student will have:

  1. Realized his identity in relationship to his position in Christ
  2. Demonstrated the essential knowledge and skills to study Scripture inductively and to communicate biblical truths effectively
  3. Established a basic philosophy of Christian education which incorporates discipleship and leadership
  4. Demonstrated an ability to be sensitive to others
  5. Shown an understanding of how people function in both individual and group learning experiences
  6. Developed and demonstrated an ability to function successfully as a teacher and a leader
