Campus Lot and Road Closures
Concrete and asphalt work taking place across campus 7/30/08 until 8/13/08. This will include slurry coating, striping, bumper block installation, red curbing, and removal of damaged asphalt.
Wed 7/30:
Closure of Lot H (Bookstore Lot) for striping.
Partial closure of Lot C (McNally Lot) for striping inside the security gate at the upper portion of Lot C.
Red curbing will be taking place throughout the campus
Thur 7/31:
Closure of Lot K (Alpha East Lot) & the Alpha Chi Roadway for striping. Alpha Chi residents can park in Lot L (Emerson Lot).
Partial closure of Lot J (Sigma Lot) for striping.
Fri 8/1:
Closure of Lot G (Stewart Lot) for striping.
Lot N (Power Plant Lot) for striping,
Partial closure at Lot J (Sigma Lot) for striping.
Sat 8/2 & Sun 8/3:
Closure of Lot B (Sutherland Lot) for replacement of damaged asphalt, slurry striping, & bumper block installation.
Closure of Lot I (Gym Lot) for slurry striping. Road access from Chase Drive to University Drive (along the creek) will be the only open area of Lot I.
Mon 8/4 thru Wed 8/6:
Closure of Lot F (Soubirou Lot) on either 8/5 or 8/6 (not yet confirmed) for road repair.
Asphalt removal/replacement in several sites on University Drive along the creek from the La Mirada Blvd. entrance to Lot I (Gym Lot) and miscellaneous sites near the Bookstore and Baseball Field. One lane vehicle access will be available at all times.
Sun 8/10:
Striping of University Drive from La Mirada Blvd to Lot I (Gym Lot). One lane will remain open. No lots closed.
Wed 8/6 thru Wed 8/13:
Closure of Lot O (Music Lot) for concrete work, asphalt removal/replacement, & slurry striping.
Vehicle Policies
NOTE: Vehicle registration is no longer available through the Campus Safety website. You may register your vehicle through WebReg or at the Campus Safety Administrative Office. If you registered for classes through the WebReg, parking permits will be available at the Campus Safety Administrative Office. The office hours during registration are 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Permits WILL NOT be mailed.
