ABOUT SOS

SOS stands for Student Orientation Service. A diverse group of 57 SOS leaders have been trained to help you navigate your way as you enter this new community.

Here's how it works...

All new students are divided up into groups of about 20 led by one of these SOS leaders. This group is your opportunity to connect in a more personal way with other students sharing a similar experience. Further, your SOS leader is there to meet your specific needs and help in any way possible. We count it a privilege to serve you in this way. There will be more programs and events than you know what to do with during the SOS Orientation Week. We will do our best to help you connect with other students, faculty, campus life, ministries and involvements, a local church, and the community of La Mirada.
