Final Exam Schedule

Please read this information carefully before using the Final Exam Schedule to determine the day and time of your final.

All undergraduate classes of two or more credits are scheduled for TWO-HOUR final exams. If the professor does not desire a final exam, the final exam time scheduled below must be used for a regular class meeting.

  • One-credit courses require a one hour exam. One-credit courses should follow the schedule below but only meet for the FIRST HOUR of the two hour final exam period.

To determine the time of your final exam find your regular class time on the chart below and meet at the day and time listed.

  • Standard final schedule times are as follows:
    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:00-10:00
    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:30-12:30
    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 01:00-03:00
    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 03:30-05:30
    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 06:30-08:30

Courses that meet four days per week (MTRF) or five days per week (MTWRF) need to follow the schedule below based on the MWF start time for their exam schedule.

  • Example: a MTWRF 11:30-12:20 class will meet for their final on Wednesday from 10:00-12:00.

Undergraduate courses of more than one credit that meet only one day per week will meet on their regularly scheduled class day at the time noted below.

  • Example: A Monday 01:30-04:20 class will take their final on Monday from 01:00-03:00.
  • Example: A Thursday 03:00-05:50 class will take their final on Thursday from 03:30-05:30.

Labs, discussion sections, and First Year Seminar courses will not be scheduled for exams, and should not meet for class sessions during finals week.

Graduate courses do not follow the final exam schedule but instead meet at their regularly scheduled time. This includes any cross-listed classes with both graduate and undergraduate students. Any final exams given will occur during the regular class periods.

The Art, Kinesiology and Music departments will apply this schedule to the courses taught in their own facilities, which they schedule on their own.

Please note that if your class does not fall into one of the university's standard time slots that appear on the Final Exam Schedule, a final exam time will need to be determined for you by the Course Scheduler.
