As chair of the Biola University Board of Trustees, I have the distinct honor to invite you to discover what we and many others believe to be true—that Biola University is a very special place. As we conclude the first century of service to our Lord Jesus Christ, we rejoice in what the Lord has done at Biola. Through His grace, Biola University has strong roots, great people and an exciting vision for future service.
Strong Roots
Founded by a Christian businessman responding to a critical need for biblically centered education, Biola has grown to become a preeminent national Christian university while retaining its strong biblical roots. Thousands of men and women have taken their Biola education into every corner of the globe to serve the kingdom in a variety of ministries and professions.
Great People
While our academic programs are nationally recognized for their quality and innovation, we are also enormously blessed to have talented and dedicated faculty and staff who invest their lives in our students. They are attracted here for all the right reasons. Their commitment is strong, and they serve the Lord with excellence.
Exciting Vision
Biola is well positioned for the future. While the days ahead may be challenging, we believe God is opening new doors for expanded ministry and academic excellence in this next century of service. We intend to go where God leads us.
Our current president, Dr. Clyde Cook, has served with distinction for over 24 years. It is now time for us to look ahead and discover whom the Lord is calling into this ministry as Biola’s eighth president.
Could God be calling you to assume the leadership of Biola University as we begin our second century of service to our Lord Jesus Christ? On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I invite you to prayerfully consider leading this remarkable university.
We’re looking forward to meeting you!
