The Presidential Search Team is pleased to announce the formation of the Search Advisory Committee that will provide input, advice, and counsel to the Search Team. The Advisory Committee represents key constituents of the Biola community. The purpose of the SAC is to provide advice and counsel to the Presidential Search Team, the committee charged with the task of presenting a candidate to the Board of Trustees.
Although the SAC does not have an official vote in the search process, its members have a significant voice. They will provide input as the pool of candidates is refined and narrowed, and then the SAC members will meet and interact with the final candidate during a campus visit. In addition to giving of their time and energies to help identify God’s leader for the next phase of Biola’s remarkable history, they have also committed to pray for the search process and to encourage others in their spheres of influence to do the same.”
Please continue to pray for the presidential search process and for the members selected to represent the Biola community.
